GAAD2025 celebration
15 May was a busy day in Stockholm, Sweden, with many eye-opening experiences as a group of highly skilled users demonstrated assistive technologies and answered questions for four hours straight.
Some participants looked noticeably concerned about how their own websites (don’t) work, but above all, there were exciting discussions and lots of laughter.
Just as it should be.
A special thanks to all of you who came with extra tricky questions, and we were very pleased that a handful of people who were completely new to the subject of accessibility had found their way to us – that is, after all, the idea behind Global Accessibility Awareness Day, to spread knowledge to more people.
We are so happy that our talented assistive technology users, our dedicated volunteers and everyone in the audience who made the GAAD celebration such a memorable day – again!
