Training
Through our research and experience we have acquired insights into a range of areas in accessibility and inclusion. Since knowledge drives progress, we are keen to train others based on our expertise and support anyone wanting to learn more about how to improve accessibility and inclusion.
In our knowledge-strengthening and educational activities we work with organisations of all sizes and in all sectors, delivering trainings on topics covering diversity, accessibility and inclusion.
Our learning services include longer and shorter trainings and educational activities, online or onsite. Many of the trainings are tailored to the needs of the specific project or client we are working for.

Our clients
Examples of organisations that have recently selected the Funka Foundation to provide training and workshops:
“Funka Foundations’s expert training on website accessibility for travellers with disabilities empowered us to create more inclusive online experiences.”
Miguel Gallego, Head of marketing at European Travel Commission
“Funka Foundation provided excellent training to the members of the European Disability Forum. The trainer of the Foundation took a pragmatic and patient approach, ensuring that participants had a good understanding of accessibility but also actionable tips to start their journey toward accessible communications immediately. We especially liked the trainer’s simple responses to questions and the use of concrete examples to improve. We hope to further the partnership in the next year – it is a real value added.”
André Félix, Communications Coordinator at European Disability Forum
“The accessibility training by the Funka Foundation provides highly valuable and urgently needed accessibility and disability awareness and guidance both for beginners and those with experience. As someone who has worked on accessibility advocacy in the disability rights space for several years, I found it to be a useful refresher of accessibility principles and policy. But most importantly, the training’s practical examples of accessibility solutions and tools with a design for all approach provides the knowledge necessary to ensuring a barrier-free environment as a first step towards an anti-ableist future. I highly recommend this course for organisations aiming to improve diversity of their teams, improve ways of working, and reach wider audiences.”
