Framework contract with the whole Stockholm Region
Funka Foundation has signed a framework contract with the Stockholm Region on the delivery of Communicative Accessibility Services. The agreement means that we become a partner that can support all units in the region in developing accessible digital communication.
Over the next two years, we will assist with strategy, concept, design, content and development of digital communication. This may include new and existing websites, alternative functionality, mobile applications, services, systems and tools managed by the Stockholm Region or procured suppliers.
Under the framework agreement, we provide recommendations, training, audits, development and support. We will also be able to provide suggestions on how information should be expressed in images, text, video and audio to comply with the current legislation.
We look forward to contributing with our knowledge and ability to make information accessible by being understandable, attractive and usable based on the users’ abilities, says Susanna Laurin, CEO and Chair of the Funka Foundation. The region has many activities that are important to the residents, and it feels exciting to be involved in further development of that work.
The framework agreement runs for two years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years. The maximum value is set to the equivalent of €1 million.
