Nordic knowledge on web accessibility

IAAP Nordic, run by the Funka Foundation, participated in a project to spread knowledge and experience of teaching web accessibility.

The aim of the project was to make web accessibility a natural part of university programmes in IT, design, communication and other relevant fields.

The project, funded by NordPlus, built a network of universities and other education providers in the Nordic region to exchange experiences and learn from each other.

The project has also mapped which universities and colleges are working on the subject today and, based on the current situation, developed recommendations for future opportunities to increase the quality and availability of courses with an accessibility focus.
