We are hiring: an experienced EU-project manager
The job tasks cover the application writing process as well as managing winning projects, including budget and administrative work.
We are looking for a senior/stable professional with extensive experience in EU-project management, good communication skills and in-depth understanding of and interest in disability/accessibility-related concepts. Not necessarily a technical person, what matters more is interest and commitment to the cause.
Examples of current projects:
- Several projects focusing on cognitive accessibility (national funding, Sweden)
- Research on the use of AI-tools in recruitment and inclusion of persons with disabilities (national funding, Norway)
- Training PwDs to become experts in web accessibility (funding from Interreg)
- Adding inclusive usability testing to UX-design curricula at university level (Funding from Erasmus)
Right now, we are preparing for the Horizon2025 call that was recently published.
We collaborate closely with end user organisations and also provide strategic consultancy, user testing, accessibility audits and training.
We are a small team. A strong drive and independent responsibility is essential. We all work remotely but start every morning with a short virtual check in-meeting and we also make sure to meet regularly f2f. Lived experiences of (in)accessibility is a merit.
Our motivation is clear:
We want to make the world a better place for persons with disabilities – and we want to have fun. We only do things we believe in and we have very high quality standards.
